Status: Pending
Collection 5 MOD10C1 data were originally processed with corrupted tile indices as a result of incorrect static input files used in processing. The first image below shows a subset of the MOD10C1 data for 2007, day 297, when this data was initially processed. The second image shows the same subset of the same product, but reprocessed with reinstalled binary static inputs. Blue and white values represent percentage snow cover, with white the maximum snow cover (100%); areas in red are fill values. The third image is a difference image made from the data shown in the first two images. Gray areas represent no difference between the two data sets, while shades of red and blue represent differences between the two data sets. More intense red indicates greater negative differences, with the most intense red shade representing a difference of 8% or more. More intense blue shades indicate increasing positive differences, with the most intense color again representing differences of 8% or more.
